Draft. This document has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
What we collect
- Your account: an email address or a Sign in with Apple or Google identity, and a display name you choose.
- What you write: your gratitude entries, photos, thank-yous, replies and reactions.
- Circles: which circles you belong to and what you choose to share with them.
- Device: a push-notification token if you turn notifications on, your time zone, and crash reports.
What stays private
Every entry is private by default. A private entry is stored only under your own account and is never shown to anyone else, never used to train models, and never sent to any outside service.
Sharing and moderation
When you share an entry to a circle, send a thank-you, or post a reply, that content is checked by an automated moderation service (OpenAI's moderation API) before other people can see it, and may be reviewed by a person if it is reported. Only content you addressed to other people is checked.
Thank-you links
A thank-you sent to someone without the app is reachable by anyone who holds its link. You can turn a link off at any time. We never collect the recipient's phone number or email; you send the link yourself.
Where your data lives
Data is stored with Supabase in the United States. Photos are stored in a private bucket and served through short-lived links.
Children
Gratitude Club is for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Deleting your data
Settings → Account → Delete account removes your account and your data from our servers. Thank-yous you sent stay with the people who received them, with your name as it was when you sent them and no link to your account. You can export everything first as PDF or CSV.
